USA & Elon Musk Finally Reveal New Tesla Engine That Defies Physics!

Elon Musk: “This NEW Tesla Engine Will DESTROY The EV Industry!”:- Elon Musk Revealed NEW INSANE Motor! The electric motor has been one of the most important innovations ever conceived by man.

From literally revolutionizing how we think of the world, to leading to the future. And now, things are about to get even more exciting as Elon Musk just revealed Tesla’s insane new motor. How it works will blow your mind.

Let’s take an in-depth look at the construction of a Tesla electric drivetrain, which was designed around 100 years ago by Nikola Tesla. The stator and rotor are the first two key components to pay attention to.

The rotor is simply a collection of short-circuited conducting bars joined by end rings. A three-phase AC power supply is provided to the stator. The three-phase AC in the coils produces a magnetic field. Tesla motors generate a four-pole magnetic field.

The revolving magnetic field induces a current that turns the rotor bars. In an induction motor, the rotor speed (RMF speed) frequently lags behind the rotor speed. Despite the lack of brushes and a permanent magnet, an induction motor is fairly powerful.

Induction motors are unusual in that the frequency of the AC power source determines their rotational speed. This implies that the frequency of the power supply can be changed to modify the rotational speed of the wheel.

Tesla’s speed control is so straightforward and reliable. Tesla motors can spin from 0 to 18,000 revolutions per minute (RPM). The battery pack provides power to the induction motor.

However, the source must be converted to AC power before reaching the motor as it generates DC power. This is when the inverter comes into play. The inverter not only converts DC to AC but also changes the frequency of the AC power, thereby controlling the speed of the motor.

By changing the amplitude of the AC motor, the inverter can also change the motor output power. The inverter is sort of the brain of the electric car.

The battery packs are made up of enormous collections of ordinary lithium-ion battery cells that are comparable to those present in everyday life, which most people are astonished to find. All of these cells are connected in a series and parallel manner to provide the required electricity to drive the electric vehicle.

Glycol coolant is pumped between the cells through metallic inner tubes that entwine. One of the concepts that set Tesla apart from other electric car manufacturers is this.

Rather than a few big cells, several tiny ones are used to provide essential cooling. As a consequence, thermal hot spots are eliminated, resulting in an equal temperature distribution across several cells and extended battery pack life.

All of these cells are grouped into detachable modules, with a total of about 7000 cells in 16 modules. The premier example of Tesla’s engineering genius is currently the Tesla Model S Plaid, at least until the Roadster comes around.

Teslas have always been fast, and the company, driven by its nerd-in-chief, appears to be nearly equally adept at pushing inside-joke limits as it is at making serious, industry-shifting advances.

It’s completely successful in pushing Tesla’s performance to new absurd levels. It is the first Tesla to have three electric motors, two in the rear and one in the front axle, all of which are now permanent-magnet synchronous AC machines.

The carbon-fiber-sleeved rotors (the spinning part of the engine) in plaid are new. Each rotor is held together by a carbon-fiber cover, allowing a rotational rate of up to 20,000 rpm, which is about 25% faster than before.

Tesla claims that the motor’s copper wire must be coiled at exceptionally high tension due to the different coefficients of thermal expansion between carbon and copper, resulting in a particularly efficient electromagnetic field.

Furthermore, the Plaid overcomes an EV flaw, particularly in cars with a direct-drive gearbox, such as Teslas, where power drops down substantially as speed increases.

Tesla boasts that the Plaid maintains 1000 of its 1020 horsepower to its peak speed of 200 miles per hour. Despite the larger power, the Plaid was 175 pounds lighter than the Model S Performance variation at 4828 pounds. So how does the car perform

According to MotorTrend, “The Model S Plaid sprints down the quarter mile in a startlingly quick 9.25 seconds at 152.6 mph. 0 to 60 mph comes in just 1.98 seconds after a brutal launch.

The Plaid so covers distances rapidly, so it’s difficult. Even to register what’s happening. The yoke goes light in your hands, the muscles in your neck tense as your helmeted head digs into the headrest, and Your surroundings only blur into shapes and colors as a quarter mile of pavement disappears beneath you.”

That’s a great achievement despite the fact that the car can’t reach 200 mph at the moment and can be maintained as the drivetrain runs the risk of damage in such an event.

Top speed limits are something Tesla wants to mend for the Roadster coming up, as that car is supposed to be the next paradigm shift in EV performance technology.

Going forward with such huge improvements in the efficacy of vehicle battery technology, Tesla has resolved to switch to lithium-iron-phosphate batteries. The move is most likely a strategy for Tesla to boost profit margins on its fully electric vehicles without having to hike pricing.

Tesla has been chastised in the past for its erratic car pricing. At its Shanghai facility, the firm is already producing automobiles with LFP chemistry. China, the Asia-Pacific region, and Europe are among the countries where it sells those vehicles.

According to materials researcher and consultant Roskill, China typically encourages the usage of this sort of battery, and apparently, around 95% of LFP cathode manufacture is done in China.

Tesla asked Model 3 reservation holders in the United States in September 2021 if they would accept a car with a battery produced using LFP cells rather than the Nickel Cobalt Aluminum Oxide (NCA) cells used in previous Model 3 sedans delivered in North America.

Alongside this, they are also continuing research work and the development of the new 4680 battery cells. The 4680 designation alludes to the diameter and height of the battery, which is 46mm and 80mm, respectively.

This relatively big size, along with promises of better power density, is said to save costs by up to 14%, with fewer cells needed to produce a full-size pack. A mass manufacturing schedule has yet to be established.

Panasonic, on the other hand, informed US media after its 2021 results call that it will prioritize Tesla car supply while also talking with other manufacturers.

While the new technology has been heralded as a huge step forward in decreasing the cost of entry for environmentally-friendly automobiles, Tesla recently announced that it has put on hold plans to produce a more inexpensive hatchback – dubbed the ‘Model 2’ – for the time being.

However, 4680 batteries may still be installed in current Model 3 sedans, Model S sedans, Model Y SUVs, and Model X SUVs to reduce costs and enhance efficiency. The hypercar and racing performance landscapes are being reshaped by electric automobiles.

These new hypercars have pushed the engineering envelope to the point where internal combustion engines, metaphorically speaking, have run out of steam.

Consider the Hennessey Venom F5 and the Bugatti Chiron, both of which achieve peak speeds without using electric propulsion. It took roughly 150 years for combustion engines to reach these achievements.

In recent years, however, all-electric hypercars like the Lotus Evija and the Rimac Nevera have been built, and they easily exceed the Venom and Chiron in terms of power.

Crucially, it was the first generation Tesla Roadster that paved the way for it to happen and again, Tesla must make the next big jump forward and stand up to its new competitors. Tesla Chief Designer Franz von Holzhausen provided a rare update on the Tesla Roadster, which has been repeatedly delayed.

Tesla is still “feverishly” working on the electric hypercar, which will be an “exciting flying machine,” according to the designer. Tesla wants to sell a “SpaceX package” with cold air thrusters all around the car to improve performance, according to Musk.

According to him, the kit may bring down the 0-60 mph time to 1.1 seconds. Can you imagine that? That’s going to be the quickest car ever to exist and it’s a record that very few will be able to catch within a short time frame if they can.

We hadn’t heard anything about the new Tesla Roadster all year and assumed it had been postponed once more. Due to the chip scarcity, the manufacturer has had a difficult year, and the Cybertruck, which is a priority, has been delayed as well.

Last September 2021, when questioned about the Roadster’s schedule, Musk said that it had been postponed until at least 2023. In addition, the CEO stated that its arrival will be contingent on how much “drama” Tesla experiences in 2022. Let’s hope for the best.
